The FaceGuard 1 Disposable Cleanroom Face Mask with Ties – Non-Sterile is a three-layer disposable face mask designed for use in controlled cleanroom environments up to and including ISO Class 4. It provides a practical solution for personnel requiring reliable face protection in laboratory, pharmaceutical and cleanroom applications.
The mask features a three-layer construction, with the outer layers manufactured from Ethylene Side by Side (ES) and the middle layer manufactured from Melt Blown Polypropylene (MBPP). This construction is designed to support particle control while providing comfortable wear during cleanroom operations.
A flexible nose piece helps provide an improved fit, while the ultrasonically bonded polyester tie-on loops allow the mask to be securely positioned and adjusted to the wearer. The mask measures 210 × 90 mm and is supplied in one size.
FaceGuard 1 provides a Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) of 95.10% at 3.0 µm and a Particle Filtration Efficiency (PFE) of 97.60% at 0.1 µm under the manufacturer's stated test methods. Micronclean also reports an airborne particle count of 70 counts per piece for particles ≥0.5 µm using the IEST-RP-CC003.4 Helmke drum method.
The non-sterile FaceGuard 1 is available as either an individually packed or multi-packed face mask, allowing organisations to select the packaging format best suited to their cleanroom procedures and dispensing requirements.
