The NE1D series educational water baths are designed for school, college and university use and are built comprising of a high quality corrosion resistant stainless steel tank and with a bright clean finish housed in a durable paint finished outer case.
Painted surfaces feature anti-bacterial finish with good chemical resistance. Educational water baths are fitted with side lifting handles for ease of transportation.

Controls
Simple digital LED controller for setting temperature with 1°C increments. Temperatures can be easily and rapidly set with the push button, wipe clean control panel. Temperature setting is retained in memory, even after ‘power off’. Illuminated on/off switch and heater indication lamp. We verify the performance of every bath calibrating its controls and water temperature for consistent temperature control in use
Heating and Sensors
Heaters and temperature sensor are concealed under the tank providing an easy to clean working area. The heating footprint covers the underside of the tank and with a low mass provides rapid energy transfer, resulting in quicker heat up times and a reduction in energy consumption and improved temperature uniformity.
Heating Information
Above 60°C it is recommended that to achieve optimum performance the bath should be covered with a lid or layer of polypropylene spheres - see accessories. Covering the bath with a lid reduces energy consumption and running costs. This range of baths will operate at 99°C however are not designed for continuous boiling, the NE1B boiling bath range is recommended.
