The PureGuard 5 Delta Plus Individually Packed Disposable Microfibre Mop – Sterile is a pre-dosed sterile disposable microfibre mop designed for effective hard-surface cleaning in controlled cleanroom environments. It is suitable for cleanrooms up to ISO 14644 Class 4 and GMP Grade A/B applications.
Each mop is uniformly dosed to provide coverage of up to 15 m², removing the need for in-cleanroom mixing or dosing. The pre-mixed, pH-neutral Delta Plus solution helps provide consistent application while supporting the removal of surface contamination, disinfectant residues and bioburden as part of a validated cleaning and disinfection programme.
The disposable microfibre mop features an 80% polyester / 20% polyamide microfibre front and a 100% polyester backing. Its two-pocket design provides a secure, hands-free connection to a compatible mop frame, helping to reduce handling during cleanroom cleaning procedures.
Individually packed and double bagged, the PureGuard 5 Delta Plus is particularly suited to smaller cleanroom areas where individually packaged sterile consumables can help support controlled cleaning practices. The mop is gamma irradiated with a minimum dose of 25 kGy and has a proven two-year shelf life from date of manufacture.
The Delta Plus formulation is manufactured using naturally derived ingredients, contains no petrochemical components and is blended with Water for Injection (WFI). It is designed to work as the cleaning stage within a documented two-stage cleanroom cleaning and disinfection process.
