The TSC TS/15-SH EnviroStik® Sponge Sampling Kit is a sterile sponge-on-stick system developed for environmental monitoring, hygiene verification and cleaning validation. The kit features a blue cellulose sponge mounted on a sturdy breakpoint handle, pre-moistened with 10 mL of neutralising buffer and supplied in an easy-open stomacher pouch for convenient sample collection and transport.
The integrated handle allows users to safely sample difficult-to-reach areas, reducing direct hand contact with the sampling surface while improving operator comfort and control. The breakpoint handle enables the sponge to be easily transferred into the stomacher pouch for laboratory processing after sampling.
The neutralising buffer helps neutralise residual disinfectants and sanitisers that could inhibit microbial recovery, making the TS/15-SH suitable for routine environmental monitoring programmes in food manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, healthcare facilities, cleanrooms and microbiology laboratories.
