The TSC TS/5-42 Hygiene Swab Sampling Kit is designed for environmental monitoring, hygiene testing and cleaning validation where disinfectant residues may be present. Each sterile kit contains a 10 mL neutralising buffer and a polyester (Dacron) tipped swab with a breakable polystyrene shaft, allowing efficient collection and transport of microbiological samples.
The neutralising buffer helps neutralise residual sanitisers and disinfectants that could otherwise inhibit microorganism recovery, making the kit suitable for routine environmental monitoring programmes in food production, pharmaceutical manufacturing, healthcare and laboratory environments. The product can be used to support sampling procedures in accordance with ISO 18593:2018.
Each swab is individually sterile packed in a peel pouch and supplied ready for immediate use, providing a convenient solution for surface sampling and microbiological analysis.
